InterSystems USA completed installation of 130 NEC plasma displays, 103 Daktronics LEDs, 27 Daktronics RIDS displays and 72 Richardson CRT monitors throughout Terminal E for Continental Airlines

March, 2004, With the recent opening of the newly-built Terminal E at Houston's George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH), InterSystems has once again proven to be the leader in the supply of Flight Information Display Solutions.

In December 2003,InterSystems USA completed installation of 130 NEC plasma displays, 103 Daktronics LEDs, 27 Daktronics RIDS displays and 72 Richardson CRT monitors throughout Terminal E for Continental Airlines, which has its world headquarters based in Houston.

Mr. Robert Walker, Sr. Manager for Continental Airlines - Terminal E Construction, had no hesitation in praising InterSystems' installation work: "InterSystems' contract execution was one of - if not the - cleanest and
non - troublesome one we had. When you are managing 30 contractors, 2 testing agencies, an architect and a construction manager, a contractor like ITS is like a gold mine. InterSystems' project team hung in there with us and worked through issues with our in-house technology group and represented the manufacturers' product whenever there was stumbling block. The longer I stay in the business the more I realize, it's the people that make the company and you've got a few good ones working there."

InterSystems is the FIDS supplier for the Houston Airport System's Houston-Hobby (HOU) and George Bush Intercontinental Airport/Houston (IAH) airports. With more than 850 daily passenger airline departures, Houston Airport System is the fourth largest multi-airport system in the USA and the sixth largest in the world, serving over 30 airlines and 45 million passengers annually. IAH is the USA's 8th largest international passenger gateway.

InterSystems' RapidFIDS is installed throughout IAH's Terminals A, B, C, D and E, as well as the new Consolidated Rental Car Facility. InterSystems was recently awarded a contract to extend its RapidFIDS displays to the new Federal Inspection Services (FIS) building, which is due to open in November 2004.
