YVR Chosen as Beta Site for New InterSystems Applications
June 5, 2001, Denver, Colorado, USA, Vancouver International Airport (YVR) was chosen as the first beta site worldwide for several of InterSystems new applications including InterSystems unique solution for dynamic advertising in the airport, RapidADS. InterSystems suite of modular applications, RapidAIMS-Airport Information Management Solution, will be installed including the new version of RapidFIDS, RapidGATE (together with TPG) and RapidADS.

In light of YVR's extensive refurbishing of the Domestic Terminal, YVR recently purchased from InterSystems an additional extension of the current FIDS including a software upgrade to support HTML and multimedia displays, 220 Monitors, 40 Plasma Screens and 2 large multimedia LED signs.
