InterSystems offers RapidAIMS, an innovative, revolutionary AODB capable of incorporating every aspect of terminal management in a secure, maintainable, easy-to-use, customized framework. RapidAIMS integrates current and future systems, with its flexible interface and customizable modular design. RapidAIMS is configured to meet the specific needs of any airport. RapidAIMS accumulates data from a multitude of sources both inside and outside the airport, for the operational planning and management of the airport terminal. This data is then analyzed and distributed to the many operational sectors inside the airport and broadcast outside the airport to provide passengers with accessible and up-to-date information.
For example, selected data can be distributed to various automated systems, such as RapidFIDS (Flight Information Display Solution) and/or can be summarized and reported to other groups in the airport, such as terminal retail tenants. Data can also be posted on information websites, television stations, dynamic displays in hotels and train stations, or to automated voice information systems. Since RapidAIMS is an integrated modular Solution that can be merged with new and existing information technologies, the possibilities are essentially limitless.
The designers at InterSystems have anticipated the future by designing RapidAIMS with a wide range of capabilities, including the ability to interface with a variety of external systems. In other words, RapidAIMS has not only anticipated the challenges of today but is also prepared to meet the challenges still beyond the horizon.

RapidFIDS - The most sophisticated real-time display and flight information management solution, RapidFIDS answers the need for increased information dissemination through intelligent display devices.

RapidBIDS - The Baggage Information Display Solution extracts the appropriate information from the main data base to display the relevant flight at the relevant baggage carousel.
RapidACIS - RapidACIS is an Airport Commercial Information Solution, which provides passenger flow information statistics to retail establishments within and outside of the airport, enabling them to better address a diverse and changing customer base. The package is currently in operation in mid-sized international airports.
RapidADS - The multimedia Advertising Display Solution, RapidADS, is a new resource for boosting airport revenues, by leveraging existing information display infrastructure (Software & Hardware) for commercial information dissemination on existing FIDS based displays.
RapidGATE - This module provides long-term planning and real-time decision support for critical activities, such as the allocation of gates, parking positions, check-in counters, baggage belts, . Because RapidGATE is built on a central database that stores detailed, up-to-the-minute information about utilization of airport and airline resources, RapidGATE integrates with the other applications of RapidAIMS, such as billing systems, flight information display, airport web sites, and intranets for distribution of information throughout your organization.
